Gnadendorf
The municipality of Gnadendorf, which belongs to the Laa region, is located in the Zaya valley on the northern edge of the Leiser mountains in the Weinviertel region of Lower Austria, around 15 km west of Mistelbach. The large municipality of Gnadendorf is divided into the cadastral municipalities of Eichenbrunn, Gnadendorf, Pyhra, Ödenkirchenwald, Röhrabrunn, Wenzersdorf and Zwentendorf and covers an area of 48.25 km2. It has 1175 inhabitants and is mainly agricultural. With 32.95% woodland, the municipality has the largest proportion of woodland of any municipality in the Leiser Berge - Mistelbach region. Parts of the municipality are located in the "Leiser Berge" landscape conservation area, which also includes the nature park of the same name. The most prominent point in the municipality is the 491m high Buschberg.
The municipality has an elementary school and a new 2-group kindergarten with afternoon care. A modern doctor's surgery with pharmacy takes care of health in our community. Local supplies are provided by grocers and butchers. The restaurateurs provide down-to-earth home cooking. Culture and leisure tips
Hiking opportunities in the Leiser Berge Nature Park around the Buschberg, the highest mountain in the Weinviertel and the lowest hut of the Alpine Club.
Hiking opportunities to the Oberleis lookout point, the Dörfles animal park with wolf research center, the Weinviertel railway Ernstbrunn - Asparn, as well as the museums Michelstetten, Asparn, Niederleis and Ernstbrunn.
Only 10 minutes by car to the Laa thermal baths, 15 minutes to the Nitsch Museum in Mistelbach, 10 minutes to the Filmhof in Asparn or 15 minutes to the Staatz rock theater.
Numerous flat and hilly cycle paths invite you to enjoy the beautiful countryside.

St. Koloman parish church in Eichenbrunn, St. John the Baptist parish church with baroque interior, surrounded by a circular wall and moat, St. Mary's chapel in the Bildeichenwald forest in Gnadendorf, forester's lodge in Ödenkirchwald, parish church "hl. Leib Christie" parish church in Pyhra and the Buschberg (491m, the highest elevation in the Weinviertel). From there you have a wide view over the Ernstbrunn forest to the foothills of the Alps, the Moravian lowlands and the Pálava mountains near Nikolsburg, Groa Chapel in Röhrabrunn, Maria Verkündigung parish church, ruins, retention basin and nature trail at the kindergarten in Wenzersdorf, Chapel of the Good Shepherd and wine cellar lane in Zwentendorf.
