The lookout point on the Oberleiserberg is an impressive highlight in the Leiser Berge Nature Park, which lies in the heart of the Weinviertel, just 36 km north of Vienna's city limits. The highest and best-known elevation is the Buschberg at 490 meters. From here, there is a far-reaching view of the gentle, beautiful hilly landscape, which regularly changes its color throughout the year. The rich flora and fauna, a wide range of Excursion destinations and sights, numerous hiking trails and the mountain bike arena reflect the diversity of the region. The Leiser Berge Nature Park, the only nature park in the Weinviertel, is one of the oldest in Lower Austria and invites you to linger and enjoy. However, the Oberleis viewing platform is closed from November to March. Nevertheless, the Leiser Berge Nature Park offers a variety of events and activities throughout the year that highlight the beauty and diversity of nature.
