At 491 metres, the Buschberg is the highest point in the Leiser Mountains and a popular destination for hikes in the nature park. The summit cross marks the highest point and offers sweeping views across the rolling hills of the Weinviertel.

Buschberg is situated in the Leiser Berge Nature Park and can be reached via several hiking trails. The summit cross and the nearby Buschberghütte make the site one of the most popular excursion destinations in the nature park.

The area around the Buschberg is characterised by dry grasslands, meadows and varied landscapes. The open location offers sweeping views and provides a typical landscape of the Leiser Mountains.

Depending on the season, the surroundings reveal different facets – from flowering meadows in spring to clear views into the distance during the autumn and winter months.
