Route description Weinradroute Sylvaner

The cycling route "Sylvaner" starts in Mistelbach directly at the station. In Mistelbach itself, you have the opportunity to visit the "Aktions Museum" and the "Viertelgalerie". From Mistelbach, you cycle to Asparn an der Zaya. In the open-air area of the castle, you can experience prehistory up close: the museum offers a comprehensive insight into the development history of mankind – from the Paleolithic to the Celts. You should also visit the Weinland Museum in the Minorite Monastery.

From Asparn, the cycling route continues via Hörersdorf to Waltersdorf near Staatz and then to Ameis. Here, the idyllic cellar lane "Loamgstetten" invites you to linger and enjoy. Afterwards, the route continues to Altruppersdorf and Föllim. On the section to Kleinhadersdorf and Poysdorf, you cycle through a hilly landscape accompanied by picturesque vineyards. In Poysdorf, also nicknamed the "City of Wine," you should definitely visit the wine city museum and the "Kellergstetten".

From Poysdorf, you cycle further via Walterskirchen and Ebersdorf an der Zaya to Wilfersdorf. Here at Liechtenstein Castle Wilfersdorf, you follow in the footsteps of the Liechtenstein family. Your physical well-being is well taken care of, as a cozy Heuriger and a vinotheque are set up in the castle cellar, where homemade specialties await you. From Wilfersdorf, the route finally leads back to the starting point in Mistelbach.
